HARMONY DIES is a underground cult death metal band from Berlin and celebrate their Death Metal sickness since 1992. They started at that time, to become one of the most brutal bands here in Germany.

The first two demos were released in 1992 and in 1993, „Living Corpses“ and „Slope“.
One year later the split-single with the fantastic KRISIUN from Brasil appeared on Morbid Records. Following the demos „Third Output Of Incompetence“ In 1994 & „Promo ’95“
The First Self-Produced MCD“Slaughtered“ was recorded in 1996.

It took more than 2 years until the first full length CD „Don’t Trust“ was released on Ars Metalli.
At the millenium HARMONY DIES entered the Soundforge Studio once again to record „I’ll Be Your Master“ with the help of Andreas Hilbert from GOLEM.

The following year saw the appearance of the live video „Dying Live“ and in 2002 followed the „Hybrid Manifestation“ 7″-single with the guys from SPAWN on Poserslaughter Records.

For 2003 they had recorded the untill now most recent album called „Impact“, brought to you by german cult Label Morbid Records, and after this 5 tracks take place on a split CD with FLESHART from Greece.

The band remembered in their long history the shows, they had with bands like VADER, DEEDS OF FLESH, IN FLAMES, DYING FETUS, DERANGED, KRISIUN, THE HAUNTED, INCANTATION, MAYHEM and lots of others.

The band’s line-up changed several times, and after a long break they joined together in 2012 to spark some more brutal stuff.

Now this brutal Death Quintet was ready to created new Stuff and in the early 2016 will finally released the new album “ Indecent Paths Of A Ramifying Darkness“ included 6 brandnew tracks!
For this amazing new recordings, the five Berlin Death Metal Maniacs have decided to respond for a close collaboration with the also in eastern-germany domiciled Label-Defying Danger Records.

The album mixed by them self and mastered by Vintagemastering. The fantastic artwork-creater was David Kempf.

„Indecent Paths Of A Ramifying Darkness“ CD will be released as D.D.R. # 015 in a strictly limited Digisleeve, handnumbered 666 copies only!!!

And soon as a part of the D.D.R. Tapeseries handnumbered 300 copies!!!
Tapeversion has the full „slaughtered“ album, as celebration from 20 years anniversary extra on top!
It will be released in 22th april 2016

Watch out for the brandnew masterpiece in Death Metal !!!

Ansonsten muss man feststellen, dass die Burschen nichts berlernt haben.
Wer auf brutalen Death Metal mit sehr viel Midtempogroove und Tempowechsel und natürlich Solis mag, ist bei HARMONY DIES Anno 2016 genau richtig.Ich bin zur keiner Zeit enttäuscht worden. Ich hoffe, dass die Burschen zusammenbleiben und dann in ein oder 2 Jahren ein Album mit neuen Songs oder so auf dem Markt schmeissen.

Man merkt gleich, HARMONY DIES sind sich treu geblieben. Geknüppel, Groove, Double-Bass, Growls und Screams in Old School Tradition.

Jungs, was für eine Wohltat für die Ohren nach dem ganzen OldSchool/Swedishstyled Deathmetal.
Endlich mal wieder rohes und deftiges Gehacke. Die Jungs sind schon seit 1992 dabei, wenn auch mit Unterbrechungen. 6 Tracks gibts auf die Löffel, ungehobelt und direkt ohne irgendwelchen Firlefanz.

Die Berliner haben‘s auf jeden Fall auch hier wieder absolut geschafft , ein echt super derbes Stück extremer musikalischer Unterhaltung vorzulegen ,welches in bester old school Manier alles bietet ,was ein Death Metal Herz in Ektase versetzen kann.
Die auf 666 handnummerierte CD sollte ohne Umwege den Weg zu Euch finden . Für die absoluten old school Anhänger gibt’s das leckere Teil übrigens auch im Tape Format!

Und die Spieldauer ist unwesentlich kürzer als die von „Reign in Blood“, das trotz der kurzen Spielzeit ja auch den ein oder anderen Anhänger gefunden haben soll.
Wer auf die alten Alben der Band steht oder einfach nur ein Herz für urwüchsigen. aber nicht stumpfen Old School Death Metal hat, kann mit dieser Scheibe nichts falsch machen. Welcome Back!
