Germany’s outstanding blackened Death Metal horde OBSCURE INFINITY strikes back with a filthy assault in early 2019.
The band was founded in early 2007 by vocalist Jules and guitarist Stefan. A short time later, the bassist Kalle and the drummer Oli came to the cast. In April 2008, the recordings for the first demo „Into the Depths Of Infinity“ began.
After the debut album „Dawn Of Winter“ in 2010 and „Putrefying Illusions“ two years later 2012, they played some bigger Live shows like NRW Deathfest or Killtown Death Fest and some more.
The band was influenced especially by classic 90´s Death Metal bands like UNLEASHED, GRAVE, DEATH or ASPHYX. However, they always tried to incorporate influences from Thrash and Black Metal.
So too on their 3rd studio album „Perpetual Descending Into Nothingness“ which cames out in 2015 after different split EPs. Defying Danger Records presented this recordings at that time as limited Tapeversion of 300 copies. This 9 tracks were recorded at Noiseschmiede Lahnstein, mixed and mastered by Patrick W. Engel at Temple Of Disharmony.
Arrived in the present, OBSCURE INFINITY have completed now in 2019 their 4th album entitled „Into The Vortex Of Obscurity“ which is going to be released through Defying Danger Records, at March 22nd 2019 as limited Vinylversion!
„Into The Vortex Of Obscurity“ was recorded, mixed an mastered by Jörg Uken at his Soundlodge Studio (WEAK ASIDE, KEITZER, SLAUGHTERDAY). The Spanish artist Juanjo Castellano is responsible for the amazing artwork.
The new album includes 8 songs that will for sure appeal to any fan of bands like NECROPHOBIC, AT THE GATES, EDGE OF SANITY, DISSECTION or CHAPEL OF DISEASE.

Ein überraschend bärenstarkes Album, welches die Band ohne Umschweife für höhere Weihen qualifiziert. Kurzum: Hammer!
